Renaissance Fusion

Renaissance Fusion is the first fusion energy company in France and Italy. Our mission is to deliver abundant, safe, and zero-carbon energy to combat climate change, ensure energy security and support sustainable development. We develop a fusion machine of the stellarator type, based on two key innovations: laser-engraved high-temperature superconductors (HTS) and liquid-metal technologies, which allow for a compact, modular and industrially scalable design. Moreover, this technologies can also be used in other industries, like energy transport and storage (offshore wind, telecom cables, automotive...), medical imaging and nuclear fission. Since its foundation in 2020, Renaissance Fusion has filed 12 patent families, raised 60+ million euros and employed over 100 talents from 24 different nationalities between Grenoble (France) and Pisa (Italy).
